Properly fitting inlet works better.
In da works. :)

But I still gotta say, not one single corvette C7 owner has every complained about putting it on.
And I know how much Mustang owners like dissing on Corvette guys. :)

I tease I tease, but I am serious. :)

I think they hire people to do their installs, hence why maybe we never heard about it, since mostly shops do the installs.
(obviously we do them all the time, so we are good at getting them on)

As stated, the inlet is changing now that its been brought to our attention.

Looking forward to this, maybe you guys can send me one. I'm waiting on a new retrofit piece for this right now.

Exactly I'm wondering the exact same thing! The car put down better numbers with the canned Procharger tune 480whp and that wasn't even the updated tune. I switched to Lund hoping he would figure it out and the car puts down less power. I talk to Lund about it and he says its got to be something with the car since the tune has worked fine and put down good numbers on other cars.. I've checked for boost leaks multiple times and have found nothing. I was trying to figure everything out before having to dump more money into it but that wasn't going to happen. I'm really hoping the Big race valve fixes my issues or else I'm going to have to drive ten hours to Travis at Boost Works. I also got a boost gauge coming so I can see if I'm hitting 8lbs because on the dyno the car was supposedly making 10lbs.
if numbers in general are down on both tunes, it is def a mechanical issue of some sort, whether clamps, bov, sensor, something that is not installed correctly

over the years we have had several installs that needed to go to a shop to have them diagnosed for an install issue that needed to be sorted out

Is that a win win for all of us who already purchased?

I just ordered some ID 1000's, a BAP and another pulley from Beefcake today. Can't wait to get them installed so I can start tuning. I'm anxious to see what numbers I can get on 91 octane.

Yeah, that's pretty brutal. I really hope this Lund time gets rid of that surging or hesitation and feels stronger than that 3rd procharger tune. That 3rd tune feels way way better but I still can't just jump on the gas. I have to roll into the throttle. Don't get me wrong I can roll into if a lot faster than with the first of second tunes but none the less I still can't just romp on it especially in the 3-4 k range.

Mine still surges a lot. Seemed better one day, then same old, same old. I've got a new pulley for my D1 and I'm hoping it runs like a raped ape but I guess we'll see. I've been less than fully excited about the total power output so far, but depending on who you believe we may have all been misled about potential power numbers by a certain tuner with YouTube videos out there. I've got my fingers crossed on being happy with mine overall, as opposed to chasing someone else's numbers even though they make more power with less boost. The Procharger tunes on stock p1 stage 2 kits are making more than my Lund D1 tuned. I don't get it. And there claim to have all the drivability surging worked out. But Procharger just told us we're SOL on the new inlet unless we but a new kit or pay them for one, they have no intention on retrofitting is a proper fitting part. It's a little maddening.

Lol.. go to the Procharger install thread. Pretty messy over there.
LOL!!! WoW! I just did some catching up on that thread. I have the same issues, just been sitting on it until a good solution came to mind. Makes me feel better knowing I am not crazy and others are having the same issues.
