This isn't required to stay mounted though correct? You can just flash with it, then remove it? I think once I really had everything setup I'd prefer it not to be hanging from my windshield. If it could easily replace the vacuum gauge on the dash that would be nice though.

Correct, you can just use it like any other handheld and does not need to stay with the car if you don't want it to.

i got lund tune + jlt painted intake + sct 4 for 750$ but just placed my order....would you guys say i should cancel it and wait for this? the gauge with the suction cup looks pretty ghetto. if there was a cleaner mount that would make me want it more.

if there was something like this that actually added tuning functionality id happily pay much more
