A bit trivial, but I can't help but wonder if a fastback would have had the same extent of damage due to the more rigid body.

I doubt it, if anything the driver may have been worse off with the car folding in around him rather than splitting apart.

Most definitely not, after two serious accidents (neither my fault) I would be happy to never have another again. :eyebulge:

Just more curious whether the thing tearing apart was because of the weaker body structure of the vert is all. ;)
