Those of you who lowered your car, do you have any issues with scraping speed bumps, drive way dips, car lifts, etc? I like the look but dont really want to be bothered with babying the car over obstacles etc. ?

Please let me know your experices, what brands you recommend, and how many inches you lowered your car.

Thanks!

I went with BMR Performance Springs because they didn't drop the car too much. We have some of the worst roads in the nation and I daily drive my car and so far I haven't scraped any. I just got my springs on this week though, so I haven't had too much experience yet either with them. The ride is so much tighter though!

you can't lower your car and expect to go head on in to inclines, speed bumps, and curbs. you have to learn to take everything sideways. Hell even if your car isn't lowered. take it sideways to reduce scraping the front.

i got eibach pro kit and definitely recommend them but every single lower spring set for this car is good is is recommended by all. can't go wrong no matter what.

Not a matter of being scared. Just wanted to know what real world issues come with lowered cars to weigh out the pros and cons.

Steeda springs here. 1" all around. Never scraped. I sure as hell thought I would but I think this 1" is perfect for me.

Ok, well 'real world' your going to be fine. Like I said, I have Sportlines and honestly I wish it was 'slammed' but it really isn't compared to 99-04 Sportlines.

I even bought the Steeda front splitter to try and make it look lower, even with the splitter I don't have any problems with speed bumps or random driving. I always park half to 1 foot away from curbs but I'm used to that because all my vehicles have been low.

Just buy lowering springs install them and don't worry about em :)

Eibach Pro Kit is very forgiving in this regard. Looks great but isnt a huge drop. Speed bumps arent an issue but you need to watch steep drives; not crazy but be careful.

Things like parking stops will give you problems without being lowered. Even with the mildest of lowering springs like Steeda progressives, you will scrape if you're not careful

Any recommendations on springs that will lower the car 1" lower than the Eibach Pro's.
