Thanks for sharing this, and I know, you're right. This car already had all the mechanical aftermarket upgrades, long tube headers, cold air intake, Borla ATAK exhaust, lowering springs, short throw shifter, upgraded clutch and flywheel, I put a tune on it, forgot about that. And I'm sure I'm forgetting about other stuff previous unders did but yeah, you're right. And it already had the upgraded stereo system with like 300 speakers. My days of having fancy stereo systems are behind me, I'm old now 😉
OLD?? My next DOB starts with a SEVEN!! And I still rock out! A7X, Volbeat, Godsmack, Foo, Slash, in addition to all the "Classic Rock" accumulated over the last 50+ years!!

I found the same car black on black 2015 almost stock with only 31K miles performance package premium it had the CAI on and a new steering wheel, that was all. It had scuff marks on all four rims. Not bad but I changed them to some take offs from a 2024 pp GT. I added MBRP cat back exhaust, Stainless Power catted LTH, DDS alum. drive shaft, UPR oil catch can, Nitto 555G2 tires, all four TPMS sensors, 2018 intake manifold, Barton Industries short throw shifter, Veritech electric retractable front license plate mount, Auto Mafia Racing performance tune. I'm in Boca, and have the same issues find good driving. I bought my 16 PP1 black on black on black, 3 years ago with 28k on the odometer. I'm on bc coilovers and all the BMR suspension goodies with an MBRP exhaust and a FP catch can. sitting at 50k miles now. Now issues whatever. Car is dirty in this pic but you get the idea.

Thanks brother, mine is a six, and I still rock out to those as well, and I crank it up when they are playing just not a priority any more like it was 20-30 years ago.

That's a good point!! I don't crank it like I used to. What's left of my hearing can't handle it!!
Partly because of cranking it up back in the day with all that distortion from those cheap and cheesy audio systems! There were good audio systems, just not for cars!

Yeah, Boca would be a little far for me, but I will keep in mind. The is one here that's up in Port St. Lucie. Haven't checked it out yet.

Not far behind you but I got stuck in the early 80's and older. Still jamming to Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac. But I don't have much of a stereo in this car so I don't really listen to music as much as the car itself. I'm still new driving my first Mustang and just can't get over how good it sounds.

Wow, you did really good with your find as well !!

Rims look really good. I was wondering what it would look like with some chrome rims.

Pioneer cassette tape with Jenson coaxial speakers was the usual setup for me back in the 70's and 80's. Fortunately, I have an RX 350 that has the Mark Levinson sound system in it, so if I do want to crank it up, I can.
I do wish my car had come with the real shaker system. Mine is the 400A premium shaker sound not the 12 speaker mac-daddy one. Has no bass at all.

Dude, It's really hard keeping black beautiful. A real head turner when it is clean.

My wife's 2019 GT has the 12 speaker B&O with the sub in the trunk. No further upgrades needed!! That was the ONLY box not checked on my '18. You're right: No bass at all. There are multiple threads here on stereo upgrades. I followed the advice and added better speakers, an amp, and a sub. MUCH better!

Yeah, the music out of the pipes is exceptional! A good audio system is nice to have for a long trip. Throw in the whole Pink Floyd catalog and I can cover a LOT of miles.

For some reason all I have in the trunk is the wires, someone has removed the two big speakers. I have been watching e-bay for replacements.
