Louvered Quarter Glass Transplant?

Hey all... so just realized that the louvered rear quarter glass on the 50th anniversary edition car would look wicked sweet on the GT350. A nice, subtle, factory piece to replace a clear window.

Anyone have details on where to get the fancy glass?

That's crazy ridiculous for a small window. Good to know. I won't be breaking that window in the case of an emergency. Cheaper to kick out the windshield. :lol:

I thought about removing them off my 50th before trading it in but never did. Regretting it now.

Depends on the type of body armor you are wearing. I keep mine in the garage...

The dealer wouldn't even have noticed the difference, you could probably replace all the badging, chrome pieces and get the 50th appearance wheels and they would never know.

Another example of pricey parts.
Having the plastic panel between my tail lights replaced under warranty because of a factory flaw. Dealer informed me it's $1100 Cdn dollars.

I agree Dave. I'm working on a plan to either make sliders like in the first gen cars or a way to make the louvers open.
