I replaced my battery yesterday because it was deader than dead. On my drive to work this morning, after 10-15 miles of freeway driving, I hear a loud knocking sound. Since I was just about to get onto a bridge, there was no way I could pull off and shut it down (I thought I was going to be stranded on the bridge in morning commute traffic). It was in 9th gear, 50-55 mph. I did not accelerate or brake, I just kept it at a constant speed. There was no power lag, no check engine light of any sort. Sound went away after a few seconds (but it felt like forever). It wasn't road debris that I ran over. Less than 26k miles on my 2019 GT. Should I be worried now?
