About a week ago I started hearing this humming sound that got louder with speed and when turning left. Thought it was an unbalanced tire. Went and got it rebalanced and nothing changed. Thought maybe it could be a wheel bearing but it goes away when I'm coasting in neutral. There is no sound when I start the car, but if I rev it up to about 3000 I can start hearing the sound, and it gets louder with the higher RPM's. It's almost like exhaust drone but it's coming from the front passenger side.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Weird question do you have any kind of aftermarket stereo installed? If not I am not sure if so you could have a wire picking up feedback from the motor.

The sound tube is still there, might check that out tonight to see if there is any difference.

The stereo is still bone stock. I haven't touched any speaker wires.

I have this crazy loud buzzing coming from what sounds like the speaker down by the feet of the front passenger side. It is loud and drives me crazy! It started when I got my headers installed so im sure something vibrated loose but I cant find what it is for the life of me...

That's exactly where I think it's coming from. But just yesterday it started sounding like something is grinding. Dropping it off at the shop tomorrow so hopefully they can figure it out.

Took it to the shop yesterday. Everything was perfect, nothing loose or anything. Got it on the lift and saw it right away. About a week ago I took it to an exhaust shop to get it checked for leaks. Apparently they took the x-pipe off and didn't know how to put it back on so they just put it how they thought it should go. Well it was the wrong way and it was just enough off center to start rubbing at higher rpm's and when turning left. Fixed it last night and the humming/grinding/annoying sounds are gone.

Dead thread but I believe this might be my issue. It sounds like a high pitched drone, buzzing or rasp I guess and it's only when I accelerate and give it gas. It sounds like something is loose on the passenger side, but I don't believe so. I have an H pipe welded in but I've never had it removed. wonder what it could be
