Well I've misplaced my key socket to get off my Gorilla Guard Locking Lug Nuts. Since I don't have the key I cannot try and order a replacement. So in pretty much fucked. Anyone know of a way to get these off? They have the metal "shield" that spins freely around the lug.

Gotta cut them off..
That being said, most tire stores care a shit load of 'master keys'

Go up to a Kauffman/Discount/etc to see if they could find out which you want.

I've had to do that, and they just give me the key. Never know.

They came with a card that has the order number for the key. Any chance you still have that in a drawer/file somewhere?

I got them like a year ago and tossed it out with the package. I'm gonna call them Monday and see if there is anything I can do. Without that key # I think I might be screwed.

I'm sure Discount Tire or similar can get you squared away.

A lot of shops have a tool that takes them apart anyway. Security is a myth.

Called the company Gorilla who makes the locks and she said I would need to take it to a tire shop to have them remove the locks and then send one to the company to make another key.... The odds of them taking one off without damaging the threads are slim and none, so I'll just have them take them all off and buy another set with spare key. Lol

Well the guy got all the wheel locks off. Whew... That was a close one. He was having an issue getting 2 of them off.

Great!

How did they do it and how much time per lock?

Go to Sears they have a lugnut or nut socket remover that is a socket with teeth.

Your ganna hammer it on the lug and then take them off that way

So putting on 20 locks instead of 4 would be more likely to make a lazy/unprepared thief pick another car. I'm assuming whatever gets hammered on doesn't come off easy to use again.
