I've looked at the Gibson set, I thinks it's a bit too loud and to me sounds kind of like a two stroke. I want something that keeps the deep low rumble throughout the power band, not just at idle.

Everyone will have an opinion on which has the sound you are looking for. Really, only you can decide.
that is as true as it gets

you'd be amazed at how many guys end up buying 3 or 4 systems in search of that "sound" they want

I was in the exact same position as you several months ago and I ended up going with the ARH H-pipe catback. My thread with numerous videos and impressions of the system is located here:

those sound very nice as well

Granted, this is a full ARH system with no cats and LT's but I've seen enough video to know that the ARH catback with H-pipe sounds similar. I think this is pretty low sounding, never gets raspy, and sounds really good at higher RPM. This is a drive by at about 35-3800RPM range. The reason I pick this one is that the car is over a quarter of a mile away with a phone recording and is still very clear and strong.
Hope this helps.

From all the videos I have seen the deepeat less raspy exhausts throughout the rpm range are the MRT catback and MBRP street/race althought the mrt and mbrp race both have drone.
cant go wrong with the mbrp strrtreet though thats just my .2c

I went with mrt cat back . Wish I would have went with MRT H pipe res delete from cj. Best sound I have heard so far. Check it out and at least consider it. IMHO

X2 MagnaFlow . Just swapped it onto my LP reso delete. Perfect. Zero raspy. Nice deep tone, not over aggressive. No pissed neighbors, unwanted attn, or sounding like you're running the 1/4 every stoplight with minivans passing.

You can't go wrong with the Stainless Works H-Pipe, we have done a ton of them and they all sound great.

The one no one has mentioned is the Gibson Catback. I have it on my car and it is very deep sounding. Here is a sound clip of one we did just recently.

+1. Love my Gibson. Not sure if my neighbors love it, but I do!

I just put on the ARH Cat back and it's DEEP. Not loud, but deep.

ARH will make you happy:)

We run the full system and rasp isn't an issue!

you def want to go with an h imo, stainless works, arh, or mbrp

I think they have the "deepest" tones.

exhaust is like a guy looking at chicks walking down the street

some like blondes, some like red heads, some like brunettes,

some like skinny, some like thick, some like muscular, etc...

there isn't an all end answer
