Looking for 5v power Source

Hi,

I am looking to power a map sensor that needs a constant 5v power source. Any ideas on the best way to power it?

I do not believe there are any clean 5v sources in the vehicle. You can get a 12v to 5v converter though and everything should work just fine.

Best way to ensure clean power is using a stepdown converter. I have used stepdowns like this in multiple applications. You can also buy vary stepdowns that you can select voltages, but a fixed would be preferable to what you are needing.

Absolutely you'll want a stepdown transformer. Good news is that they're easy and cheap.
