I think a 3k ADM in NYC is reasonable. You'll be paying 1.5k - 2k to ship in an MSRP deal. Finding an MSRP deal in Manhattan or the Bay Area is going to be tough. Sure a tiny % have found one, but it is not the market norm.

Full disclosure: I'm paying 3k ADM on a '17 out of state.
