It's no "original 8 series", which is drop dead, but it's not ugly (come on!). It'll likely be around £140k, so you pays your money and all that. It'll sell (the 6 series, for those that care, went quietly out of production so this is just a badge engineering thing)

When did the 6 Series stop, mate has a new M6 and they are still on the BMW configurator?? Great car by the way, not a looker like the Mustang, or the sound of a Mustang but 600bhp with comp pack............ It shifts.:headbang:

I saw it in the various newsletters I get daily, but I typed this in to Google just now "6 series stops production" and there are plenty of links (Coupe only it appears - Grandsport continues for the moment). Looks like they're stopping to make way for the 8 though.
M6 is fantastic; the Coupe in particular is a lovely looking car, if huge.

There after market only as BMW couldn't justify the expense of designing and manufacturing something none of their customers would ever use.

I have a theory that BMW drivers are allergic to the inside lane. Only this morning did a guy joining from the slip road move very quickly from inside to outside lane, passing VERY close behind me - I was middle lane.

I will leave you to guess if the guy was using his indicators or not!

And to driving at the speed limit, I also think they're short sided or spatially inept as they're always up your ar$e lol.

How many mustang owners actually wish that their mustangs were bigger?
if it was bigger it'd be like driving around in a heavy canoe!

Not really. Wheels/tyres, trunk, rear legroom, ahem...displacement <cough> maybe. But physically I think it's about right.
