Long Lasting Wheel Shine

I`ve tried Wipe New TIRE Shine but it turned my tires brownish and it is not giving me that `wet`look. Anyone recommed any product that has a long lasting wet look ?

Rims, wheels, tires, rubbers, skates, dubs, etc.... :frusty:

But seriously, using a gel based tire dressing will work the best. Pretty much all the liquid based stuff will sling all over the car, especially if you use too much...

I'm not talking about different names for wheels and tires. The point is that wheels and tires are clearly two different things and require different types of products.

Still not sure what the OP meant. His title says wheels and in his post he says wheels again, and then also talks about his tires turning brown, so I can only assume he knows the difference. I assumed his tires turning brown comment was from overspray of what he put on his wheels.

What that said, assuming he is actually talking about wheels, as he stated, then it of course depends on the finish on the wheels, but regular painted wheels you just treat like your paint. After cleaning put a sealant on such as Zaino to keep the shine lasting longer.

How do you know this? He specifically said wheels in the title and specifically said "Wipe new wheels"'....which is a WHEEL care product!

That's why I don't know why you all are talking about tire care products.

Haha, it's amazing how just one word can change everything, it's all good though. I have personally never used that product, but it seems like it may be one of those "as seen on TV" deals that are mostly too good to be true. But anyways, like I mentioned above if you want a decent lasting, wet look go with a tire gel. And another thing is to make sure you scrub the tires good with a degreaser before putting it on.
