So I got the car tyres swapped over to the winters today.

First time I've done the swap and noticed that none of the wheels had a locking wheel nut installed (I've had the car from new for 6 months).

Looked in the glovebox and there they were all tucked up in a bag complete with invoice in US dollars!

I can appreciate not transporting cars with the locking wheel nut attached but surely the dealer should fit these before handing over to the customer?

I wouldn't bother fitting them. As said Ugly odd one out. Plus dead easy to shatter if overtightened.
To anyone who thinks they have to have them, ask yourself when was the last time you saw a car on bricks.
