You've got the button in your photo for the lumbar support and the fore/aft movement though. The back rest is manual in my car with heated/cooled seats.

Issues resolved. Rear pads/discs replaced under warranty.

I only really use it on a Saturday so I'll leave it with them.

Update: car has been with the dealer for 9 days now. They are waiting for Ford to authorise replacing the rear pads and discs under warranty as the car has <6500 miles. Dealer has no idea how long it will take Ford to give the green light to the warranty work.

Got a call from my dealer yesterday. 0% on a new car and £499/month the deposit was zilch I just had to give them my 18 plate Mustang (it's a 2017MY) back.

Got it booked in next Tuesday and I'll report back with the diagnosis.
