Hey guys, this is Ziad from LMR.com. Just wanted to jump in and include that the numbers are SAE corrected.
Thanks but why don't you just posted the graph?

Why didn't you Dyno it in a lower gear to be able to take it to redline without hitting the speed limiter?

Keep in mind on their dyno a GTPP did 395 HP.

Very optimistic Dyno.

So only 20whp more than a 2015-2017, and would be around 400whp on most Dynojets?

BLASPHEME! BLASPHEME I SAY !!! (slaps you across the face)

You bought it for the FPC !!! THE FPC I TELL YOU !!!!!!

Those are some nice times. The 18 WILL BE a performer...man I am wondering what will happen with a tune and some headers...or just a tune and cai.....
MY15 through MY17 there was a clear reason to buy a GT350, but in MY18 it looks like the GT could be very close to non-R GT350 territory.

The stock filter actually runs more airflow than the K&Ns. Just keep a fresh air filter in your stock CAI.

Speaking of which.....need to go get a new one.
That does not correspond with the results found by the guys who just tested the three Ford Performance Packs.

In their article they decided to test a stock car with just K&N added still on stock tune, the car made gains, they did it to see what percentage came from filter and what came from the tune.

So according to their test data adding a K&N filter made more power and torque over stock panel filter.

They could not, vehicle top speed limiter kicked in, hence they had to stop at 6600rpm, so there was more power left on the table as peak power is around 7000rpm on MY18.

MY18 just ran a 12.02@117mph, its vastly quicker than outgoing model. :)
I thought they would run it in a gear that’s 1:1. I guess not so this is just the typical pot stirring thread lame

Well with PP1 Automatic, 7th is 1:1.

3.55 Gearing and 275/40/19s you're going to get 153MPH at 6600 RPM in 7th as it's 1:1. 155mph Electro-limited for Europe makes sense to have the same limiter.

For giggles the theoretical top speed at 7500 RPM in 10th(.63 ratio) is 276mph. Something someone will undoubtedly say at a car meet.

Right, which means we can still find out what the delta is between the MY18 and current gen which should give us an indication what other "normal" dynos will read.
Right. I guess I misread what you intended. I'm not questioning the 18 being stronger power than 15-17s which is the way I read your post.

So no stock dyno pulls to the limiter for that setup... is that you’re saying? I’m not trying to be an ass just asking

Why is this forum not blowing up over the 12 flat 1/4 mile @ 117 LMR got with their bone stock automatic GTPP?!? Come on guys this is a big deal! 15 years ago 3200 pound Zo6 Corvettes weren't even running this fast!
I already called it a while back that the car will break into the 11s stock with the A10. People just hate the auto big time on here. When I said the A10 was going to be fast it was ignored. Throw in all the Camaro trolls and the Dodge trolls saying the car is trash and makes no torque, etc..

I'm a manual transmission guy my self but I know going into this 2018 purchase that the automatic will be faster, period no buts ifs or what's about it. No doubt we'll see LMR be into the 11's soon.

Speaking of Dodge and Chevy trolls they're over at C6 making excuses.

"Oh they had to mess with tire pressures and we don't even know how many runs they made to get that #"

"Oh well that's probably the best hero run they'll see in the best possible air"

"We got 1 stock A8 SS that ran a 11.8 @ 116"

"The 5.0 still doesn't have the low end torque of the LT1"

"It's all the A10 and stickier tires"

"Probably a professional driver on a prepped track!"

Now the last one who knows, are the LMR guys just regular doods that like fast cars?

But there are a few guys who are giving props over there saying it's even now, drivers race or even making fun of their own how they all like to claim 11.8 1/4 mile but most of them can only muster a high 12.
LOL those threads are going to blow up on there. One person keeps saying the fast lists on here are lies and that the 15-17 can’t run faster than a 13....

But,but, I want to see the HP on 91 octane. I can more easily find a pump with 91 octane.

LMR and AM have doctored dynos. It's quite frustrating that they dont just post the raw Dynojets files, list the CF, or hell, show the damn RPM. I'll wait to get excited until I see a person or shop Dyno in a lower gear and actually take the thing to redline to see what the power does in the last 700rpm.

Does anyone know or remember what the 15-17's were dyno'ing at?
Mine dynoed stock at 365 rwhp uncorrected (Ă·0.85 for correct SAE) on a mustang loaded Dyno in July...
