These Dyno #'s really don't mean anything unless they dyno a stock 15-17 Mustang GT and a stock LT1 Camaro on the same day back to back to back. If their Dyno is reading hot we'll know then.
Supposedly just ran a 12.1 @ 116mph

New automatic transmissions are more efficient than ever. Also I think 15-17's usually Dyno around 370-380 rwhp and 350-360 rwtrq.

I want to see the Dyno graph!!!

DarkestHour you got a link? I'm not hating, hell I've got one on order so I've put my money where my mouth is. I actually thought it'd run 12.00 at 115ish so maybe once the engine is broken in we'll see high 11.90's

The 10-speed is awesome and it seems to be making good power. I'm curious what other owners get though besides LMR.

I think a large assumption is being made here that a chassis dyno, even one set to "SAE correction", is going to perfectly reflect the actual power this car is producing for direct comparison to the engine dyno Ford used to certify the cars output. There are way too many variables with chassis dynos (for example, ever try changing your tire pressure while on one?) to make any conclusive statements about the '18's being under/over/whatever-rated. You can certainly try, but it's really just to result in an argument based on fallacy.

The only thing a chassis dyno is good for is making comparisons on that exact dyno in the exact same conditions (ideally the same day/operator, etc.).
Awww c'mon dude.

That removes the opportunity for a ton of people to jump on here and speculate / pull stuff out of their a$$.

Shoulda ran that sucker to the rev limiter
They could not, vehicle top speed limiter kicked in, hence they had to stop at 6600rpm, so there was more power left on the table as peak power is around 7000rpm on MY18.

MY18 just ran a 12.02@117mph, its vastly quicker than outgoing model. :)

The times that its making and the handling of the PP2 is REALLY making me question why I'd get the GT350.

BLASPHEME! BLASPHEME I SAY !!! (slaps you across the face)

You bought it for the FPC !!! THE FPC I TELL YOU !!!!!!

Those are some nice times. The 18 WILL BE a performer...man I am wondering what will happen with a tune and some headers...or just a tune and cai.....

Given the choice of both, I'd buy the one with the automatic, so GT 350 ruled out which is a shame as the GT 350 is my favourite and best looking Mustang of all time.

But I want something I can drive daily and that has easily accessible performance and the MY18 is simply the quicker car in a straight line.

PP2 don't interest me, no auto option, so if it was PP2 or GT 350, then 350 everytime as it will be quicker, it is the A10 making the MY18 so fast.

NO NO NO!

Forget the CAI, stock air box, K&N panel filter, remove the emission trap if present and it will performance as well as any CAI and cost you only $50 plus tune.

They are going to be doing mid 11's on street tyre with a tune and stock air box tweaked, maybe even break into a 10.99 on a sticky tyre with tune and some octane booster.

The stock filter actually runs more airflow than the K&Ns. Just keep a fresh air filter in your stock CAI.

Speaking of which.....need to go get a new one.
