I love the look of the the Recaros in my Mustang. I live in Florida and I haven't tinted my car yet. Has anyone installed an Air 80? I wanna keep it visible inside. I'm thinking of having all windows including windshield done.

I have the windshield done in Llumar Air 80, ( i believe, need to double check). It's basically invisible but still has UV protection. Interior temps are definitely down from prior to not having it. I would get in my car and the steering wheel would be hot as fuck. Now it's not bad at all

Florida here too. My whole front windshield is done in Air blue 80. It basically looks like its not tinted, with a verryyyyy slight blue mercedes window look. It would look a lot lighter if my other windows were not done in CTX 15%

Do polarized sunglasses mess with your view through it as it does on BMWs/Merc factory tints?

Unfortunately I cannot answer that, as I do not have any polarized glasses

Also in FL, I can't tell the Air 80 is even installed other than the fact that in car temps are down. Not sure about polarized glasses messing with your view though. Just like Arsenal, my other windows are 15% or it wouldn't seem so dark.

Thanks Arsenal and Oxford. So you guys got Air 80 on the windshield but have a different tints on the rest of the car?
That's right. Air 80 on the winshield and Llumar 15% on the rest of the windows on mine.

I have worked in the film industry for the last 10 years. The Llumar air80 film is decent but try to find someone with the 3M Crystalline. Thats available in the same light shades but with better heat rejection and quality. If you are looking for a good high IR film there's nothing better on the market.
