Cobb is a hardware company, that is a huge difference. We built our own exclusive tuning software.

At COBB, we design and build our own hardware (Accessport) AND software (Accesstuner). We also give Protuners and the end user the ability to use our tuning software which allows them to see what changes we make and all of the tuning tables available. COBB is also the only tuning company to write custom code for features like 5 way map switching, custom boost control, boost by gear, flat foot shifting, different types of launch control, etc. COBB has almost 30 engineers at our Austin, TX location and we have the following Ford vehicles on site: 3 Fiesta STs, 2 Focus STs (one with a big turbo!), and 2 EB Mustangs (one auto and one manual). Just wanted to clarify this so people don't get confused.

I personally chose the Livernois tune.
Looked at ALL of the various companies, and even had my Vortech 5.0L Mustang RoadRacer custom chipped on a dyno several times...

I believe that the Livernois tune has the best engineered TUNE (hardware is lacking, as is the user friendliness graphical interface - looks more like a Pager than and Android phone).

Many Ford employee engineers, myself included, we all chose Livernois for the quality work they do for Ford, and for their TUNE.

One very satisfied customer, and will be adding more Livernois customers, as my friends take delivery of their 2015 Mustangs.

I just ordered my Livernois tuner! I've been debating for a very long time (since December) and have given all of the tuners serious consideration. I started out thinking BAMA for the customer service, then I found out WMS did dyno tuning and started to go with them, and then I decided to wait for Ford Racing but their lack of communication is killing me so Livernois it is. (MAP would probably be my second choice but I was already sold on LMS by the time they started showing results)

We have several very good tuners on this forum but Livernois just stood out to me for their experience with the EB engines and Ford, great reputation and the results I've seen from their customers.

I'll give a fair review once I receive and upload

Or because they don't have the same mods as the client. What happens when people start throwing bigger turbos on these cars? What about customers with mix matched products on their car that can slightly affect the tune? Sure maybe not by much, but I think it's hard to argue that data logging is useless, when even the slightest bit of fine tuning is better than nothing.

If you are tuning to parameters that are that razors edge, then your tuning is WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too aggressive! We have been successful with every other endeavor that we have set course on. Turbo upgrades, S/C kits from other companies that can't tune their own kits and even stroker motors.

Yeesh

The nerd in me wants the Cobb tune for the polish applied to its ap, and it's ability to be transferred to another stang(leased) but it does seem like livernois makes a better quality tune and I am local to livernois. Not to mention $100 difference. Rock and a hard place... :frusty:
