Looks like tar to me rather than rubber ?

If it is tar and your paint work is of good quality, white spirt will dissolve tar quickly and easily. Follow up with clay and then polish / wax etc.

That much tar will use a clay bar up in no time.

Not sure what it is, but i spent a couple of hours yesterday with some polish and a microfibre and got about half the car cleared by hand... back to perfection now. :sunglasses:

Looks more like the black under seal they blathered all over our exhausts and rear diff etc at the docks, it got all over rear bumpers, quarter panels and wheels, vehicles with silver wheels were worst affected as it stood out like a sore thumb on them!
