line lock / missing rubber

never owned a car with line lock I am at 500 miles of my fairly aggressive break-in of engine when can I give it a try how much tire life do I loose per burn out?

It depends. When I tried mine out I waited for a super icy day. I don't think I lost any tread life, even though I had the snow tires on the car.

I know I know, not as fun - but it was easy on the car and I tested the feature.

Yeah I know I was kind of happy about that. I can't believe that thing is worn down to the belt ugh unbelievable. Fortunately I can get Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted for 365 each at my local tire shop. So maybe it's time for an upgrade. I am considering going 305 up front and 315 in the back but I need to check the feasibility of that.

what is the advantage of going of the vehicle spec on tires?

I have decided to do 305 square. I dont want any poke from a 325.

I found a good deal on 4 hankook ventus v12 evo2 tires 305 30 19 for $1070 installed. For my driving style I probably won't notice much of a difference as compared to the pilot Super Sports and there are a whole bunch of cheaper

I've never used the linelock on my car.

The 2 times i've done a burnout was traditional clutch brake gas roast and enjoy action.
