Its pretty normal as i wrote above. Bulb also generates heat.
You need to use resistor to get rid of that.

Thanks a lot! In the meantime I found that about 6 ohm, 50W should be enough for the turning light.

I'm not sure.. Our version has no side lights, changing with that maybe it's too bright?

You can tint it (red or smoke) . Maybe it is a chance to also remove your rear bumper to install wiring for the side lights... ;)

Normally the DRLs are illuminated at the front only when the switch is in the 0 position.

Depending on the vehicle the DRLs may either switch off or dim when the switch is set to side lights or headlights on position.

With headlights on automatic the side lights and headlights will switch on at dusk/when it gets dark.
G'day Fellas,

First of all thank you for the awesome support that you guys showing here on the forum and helping each other out.

WILDB mate yesterday i went to my dealer to find out about my car i.e how far it is and how long it will take etc etc and he took me to dealer workshop where they had some ponies line up for delivery and i had a look at the light system, I put the thingy on O position and all i had was only parkers light next to the indicator one. now I am confused because i bought switchback turn signal led globes which i saw on youtube. Now I am going  will it work when I swap those yellow indicator globes with led ones.

Thanks

Hi all,

Looks like this thread has been dead for a couple of years? I am finally getting round to fitting my DD Switchback tribars. I have a couple queries around wiring having read the last few pages of this thread...

1. If I wire the tribars as instructed to the existing (fog light housing) DRL's, indicators and sidelights will they work seamlessly or will I have issues?

2. Will they work if I don't connect the indicators, as it appears there is an issue with flasher speed if connected?

3. Do I need to connect sidelights?

4. Is it recommended to leave in place or remove the existing DRL bulbs.

Thanks in anticipation of any replies to this.
