Canadian market models do that permanently where you can't turn it off. Is the cluster in km?
car is from canada, can this be coded?

I'm sure there's a way to code it with ForScan, but I don't know how. Maybe search around here and see if anyone has had success. If you can simply enable the option box that should be all you have to do.

That 'headlamp delay' is to leave headlights on for a few seconds after closing the door. The 'daylight running lamp' option in the US is supposed to only turn the low beams on. My car has an option to turn them on or off, but I didn't notice any difference. I thought the DRLs were the tri-bar LEDs, but that's not the case. It's the low-beams. Maybe both turn on when that box is selected on auto cars, but I tried it on mine in N with parking brake off, and nothing happened. I would never have them on anyway, so not an issue for me. The tri-bar LEDs are more than enough, and there's no way to turn those off.

Canada cars like OP's run the low beams in all modes as long as the car is running with handbrake up. There's nothing you can do about it other than coding so the option box appears, but I don't know how.
