Well it took me a while, but i finally started the wonderful world of modding.

I finally installed my Levels Performance Intercooler (took about 3 months to ship it to my house, that's another story though)

The install was fairly smooth, just took a couple hours.

However, i had a couple small issues that maybe the community can give me some insight on.

When everything was reinstalled and i went to take my car for a spin there were a couple things i noted:

1) My Automatic Start no longer functioned and just lets out a beep when i hit the buttons on my key fob.

2) I have a check engine light

3) My car is no longer displaying the Temperature outside on my screen

Before the sleuthing commences, i did realize that I flubbed on the reinstall and accidentally removed the Ambient air temp sensor (i thought it was part of the shutter system that was removed)

I have the sensor and will reinstall when the time permits.

So my questions are.

Is the CEL on because of the Shutter System being removed, AND/OR could the Ambient Air Sensor also cause the CEL light to go off?

Also, whats the deal with my Automatic Start? That's probably my favorite feature on my car and its a bummer not having it.

Any feedback would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED. Thanks Gang!

PS- I also installed a grill delete on my 2016 Ecoboost.

Reinstall the temp sensor and then reset the ECU. The code is from the sensor missing, and when you have a CEL, it disables remote start.

Thank you for replying! I was really hoping that one thing would solve the problem! Ill have to get back in there and reinstall. Ran outta day light, and ran out of motivation today.

As long as the cable isn't pinched, it just attaches back on the bottom grille opening under the crash bar. You don't have to pull the bumper to stick it back on. I forgot mine when I did my install and had the same problem. Easy fix though.

To be fair, this isn't a "Levels intercooler" issue, it's an installer issue. I feel like the title is quite misleading to anyone browsing the forum.

Wasn't my intention to be misleading. Was just being specific as to what i was installing.

Could having the Ambient Air Temp sensor disconnected be a cause for my A/C unit blowing warm air now, or is is due for a recharge? My car only has 10,000 miles on it. Seems kind of low for A/C maintenance.

That should not affect the operation of the A/C.

May be a silly question, but did you hit the AC on button? Lol, I did that once thinking the AC was on but it wasn't. Also it does take a minute to get cool. If your not moving and your fan's aren't kicking in that could also cause an issue.

Yes, I did make sure it was on. The A/C is operational again. I did nothing to fix it, but it's working and blowing cold air.

I also reattached the Ambient Air Sensor. Need to reset the ECU I guess to clear the CEL. How do I go about doing that?
