Black wheels can look good or bad--just like any other wheel color. I think the black wheels look good on our new GT.

Most people use their camera phones and the wheels disappear because the dynamic range of the camera sucks. In real life, black wheels tend to look completely different because our eyes have a HUGE dynamic range.

I know a lot of people will express their dislike, but i also have a car with chrome wheels--oh no!!!!!!

At first I did not like the black wheels. But after doing the pinstripe, I think they are awesome.

Use Meguiar's Endurance Gel and you won't have that problem.
I've always found that petroleum based tire dressings cause tires to brown really quick once they wear off. I've been using Optimum opt-bond for a few years now with no browning. I like that is has only a small amount of shine and is water based.

I went black on my 20" OEM Foundrys and have enjoyed the loo quite a bit, but it fits the cars color scheme. Plus do you all remember how great it was cleaning your chrome wheels....

I'm a little torn on the black wheel thing...top is how she sits now bottom is all murdered out. I like the all black look but not sold completely yet...
Think the bottom looks FAR better.

black wheels is like camo paint for your rims

i cant see them

it also makes the car look cheap

not saying that all of them are horrible, but the car can look so much better with tasteful, classy wheels, than stupid mudered out black painted rims.

seatown your car looked much better before you 'modded' it.

maybe i'm too hard on the brakes but the brembos on my GT PP put out an insane amount of brake dust. makes me appreciate the black wheels more.

I think they look really good, how'd you go about appling the pinstripe?
If he doesn't share, you can always just curb a fire zone.
