Does anyone know what wheel speed sensors the timers use? I'm assuming they use the front wheel sensors and not the rear to eliminate false readings from tire spin.
I cut open my MBRP stainless steel street mufflers over the weekend to modify them for a different sound. The muffler cans, tips and piping is stainless steel, but the perforated core of the mufflers is definitely not stainless steel. The system has been on the car for a little over a year...
Nope. The oil tank in the 2006-2008 Z06 can cause oil starvation to the engine on long, high-g left hand turns. They fixed the issue with a larger tank and different baffling in the tank.
The issue with the LS7 is in the vavle-train, specifically the valve guides. That is where GM knows...
I don't have the ceiling height in my garage for a true lift. The best solution for me (and one the best 'tools' I've ever bought) is a quick jack.
The other thing I recommend is lighting, LOTS of lighting. I don't have great picture of the light setup in my garage, but I no longer...
I going to take some guesses here:
HDR
liberal use of the clarity slider ;)
I agree though, his shots are great!
Here are a few of mine. I'm using a 5d MkIII. These are shot with a 24-105 f/4L.
Thanks for the reply. I just did some paint correction on my car, perhaps it's time to apply a coating. Have you had better luck with one brand vs the other? Right now, I'm leaning towards Blackfire, but only because I have had good experiences with their other products.
Sorry for the...
Will ceramic coating, or any of the other had polymer coatings provide adequate protection against rock chips? I've just started my research into the coatings, so I'm curious as to your experience.
And the vette would not have any of the creature comforts, warranty (if you care about that) or new car smell that the S550 has. It's hard to beat the new mustangs, and this is coming from someone who has a 7 year old vette. The S550 is my wife's car, and I love it.
I guess you missed my post that states a clear bra will only have an edge if you do not cover the entire panel.
My car has the entire rear quarter panel covered in clean film, see any edges?
Like you, the prices on TrueCar always seem higher than a negotiated price. I do not trust the prices shown on TrueCar; it seems that service is in-place only for those that do not like to negotiate--which is not me. That's part of the fun of buying a car or any other large purchase.
We...
Clear bra is the way to go. You can only see the edges when the entire panel is not covered by the protective film;). Spend the money to do it right, get the entire hood covered, the entire front clip covered, and the entire front quarter panels covered.
You'd be amazed at the quality of...
It's your money, do what you want. If I save 100% what I make now, sure I'll retire earlier but will I have lived how I wanted? If I save as little as possible, will I feel stupid when it's time to retire?
That's a balance that no one can answer but you yourself. Live within your means and...
