I recently realized there wasn't just a mustang or 2 in my life. Here is my list of owned Mustangs and a short history about them. The color and models of the pics attached are exact to what I had too.

My first car:

1984 Mustang GT 5.0 fuel injected automatic:

Earned my respect. I drove the shhh out of it. I went through a gas tank every other day. I got it used in 1990 with 75k miles. It had over 200k when the motor needed to be replaced.

1990 LX 5.0 Hatchback automatic:

I don't remember losing a race in this one. That's when I learned more about rear end gearing. Automatics had 3:08 gears while manuals had 2:83 I believe. Anyhow, any stock manual never could get me. Good times until some enemies used a pellet gun twice on it.

1992 LX 50 Hatchback manual:

First car I bought myself after high school. Lowered it on eibach springs, the pony stock wheels were polished, and it had 3:08 gears. I had a beater Hyundai something to commute in. Then one day at the mall some knucklehead cut me off and I hit a tall sidewalk hard. The suspension wasn't right after that. I traded it in for a new Jetta. That's when I ventured out to be a slut and try everything until I finally came back a few months ago.

1989 LX 5.0 Hatchback manual:

Bought it for $2k in 2003 from a kid who got it cheap from the first owner who couldn't drive it anymore. It was completely stock and a great canvas for my track duty ideas that never happened. I kept thinking about how much it was going to cost me to prep it and found I'm better off with a new one.

1996 GT 4.6 manual:

Another car I bought as another attempt to build a project car or just a cheap beater to get my fix of a sports car. I bought it in 2012 and sold it after a few years. I didn't want to blow money on it again because I preferred a new one.

Now I have the 2017 Saleen and I couldn't be happier.

If you guys have a history, post up. I'd like to hear your story.

Vato, manuals had 2:73 rear gears. Bone stock I got mine to run 14.6's

I got my first mustang in high school, a 2004 competition orange pony package. I put a lot of love into, that car, but still wanted a V8.

I,then, bought a 1996 bright tangerine GT. It has a full suspension, a PI engine, 4r70w to T45 swap, cobra, brakes. Its a fun little car.

Coming home from college, I went past the local,Chevrolet dealer and on the lot was an 01 Bullitt. Still wrapped in plastic. Someone just traded it in on a new 2010 silverado. I traded my 04 in the next morning.

I kept the 01 Bullitt for a year, then traded it for a 2008 Bullitt which I loved. I put a Full suspension under it, and it was amazing. I still regret trading it in after all these years it was with me.

In may, I traded my pride and joy 2008 bullitt for my triple yellow premium GTPP. I regret it and I don't. But I have had a slew of mustangs. I still have the 96 bright tangerines too.

I don't have photos of them handy, bu here's my list:

In order:
1965 289 4 spd
1971 Mach 1 4BBL Auto
1986 GT
1990 GT
2002 GT
2014 GT

The only other cars I've owned were my first ( a 64 Chevy Nova SS from my granny) and a Ford Ranger after I sold teh 1990 GT. That lasted a few months and I traded it on the 2002 GT.

good times.

Mine are in my signature. My Mustang fascination begin with my dadā€™s 64.5 coupe and 65 fastback.

My first mustang in high school was an ā€˜82 GL - it had absolutely no power, was a bright blue, and had a velour interior. If I remember correctly it had 87 horsepower.

Then I had a ā€˜94 base in black that was wrecked (someone rear-ended it). I then got a 97 GT in Autumn Orange. I kept it for awhile and then got a 1999 GT convertible in black. That gave way to an ā€˜04 Mach 1 in competition Orange. This is my only regret - I traded it and wished Iā€™d kept it.

Next was an ā€˜09 GT Premium in Black. That begat a Magnetic Metalic EB Premium, which just recently was traded for my Grabber Blue GT.

My first Pony was a GT that I purchased in 2001. It was a 94, White, Auto with cloth seats...it performed pretty well until the heater core went out, not once but twice. Once I was driving while it went out and that fker leaked fluid all over my foot while driving it. Hurt like a sonuvabitch and after i removed the entire dash to fix it the second time I decided just to bypass it. During the winter time I wore extra clothes and kept the windows down so the windows wouldnt fog up...good times!

Second Pony was also a GT, I purchased that one in 2005, it was a 98, Green, Auto with 99K miles on it but this one was leather seats yay! The owner seemed legit but didnt tell me upfront that the car was suffering from a leak in the thermostat housing on the intake manifold.....so while driving it one day it overheated and I was left stranded. It was part of a recall but I didnt find out until months after I had replaced it. I had bought a manifold from my local parts store for something like 200.00 and when the recall came out I took the receipt to Ford looking to get money for at least the part and to my surprise they gave me a check for 700.00 to cover parts and labor no questions asked. Then another time the crankshaft pulley, split and only the inner most part of the pulley was in place and the belt kept slipping and the car sounded like I was constantly screeching. I loved that freaking car but after 236K on the odometer it was time to let her go.

Honestly after all the shit I've been through, you'd think I would have moved away from Ford, but fast forward to today and I've got a GT, 16' 6-speed. I went manny on this one because I couldn't stand the exhaust not sounding as badass as it does with a manny...

I'm pretty sure I'm ill in the head because now I want to sell this one and get a 350, but that's just me....lol

Thanks for hearing me out 6g.

First car was a 1986 Convertible. Orange with tan top and tan interior. Loved that car. I put almost 100k miles on that car. Sold it with 350k on the odometer (estimated since it rolled at least 2x)

Second Mustang was a 2005 that I bought for the wife shortly after we got married. Windveil Blue with tan interior. Didn't keep it too long since payments and insurance were ridiculous, ended up selling it and buying a Maxima....

Third Mustang was my absolute favorite. 2013 Mustang GT in Gotta Have it Green. Ordered it the way I wanted (only car I ever ordered). I had it for just over a year and unfortunately sold it in case I needed to help my parents financially after my dads cancer diagnosis. Thankfully everything worked out. I miss that car every day. Last I knew it was in Florida running 8s...

Fourth Mustang was my 2015 GT, Competition Orange. I bought this hoping to replace my 13 GT. Unfortunately I just didn't love this car. Don't get me wrong it was a fantastic car and it was decently modded. Unfortunately with my growing son and wife not fond of cramming into the coupe, I sold it to a member here and bought a 4 door sedan.

I'll probably get another Mustang in the future.

I've had the same Mustang for 12 years now and it was my first car. Some of you guys go through cars like pairs of pants, probably didn't even have them long enough to wrench on them. :p
