Not that 27whp peak gain with those things is bad, but was anyone else expecting more? They gained 40whp at 7900RPM, so maybe that's something to think about.

I was expecting more since the JLT alone with 93 octane tune has been putting out 31-38whp.

It made a little more than a 27 increase since the cat deletes were already installed on the baseline dyno run. Judging by the bone stock dynos, it picked up like 6-8whp with cat deletes untuned.

South Florida has been extremely humid and hot these days though.

Interesting that the JLT guys got a 31rwhp gain with a 93 tune, I know it's different circumstances but in that case with e85/cat delete would only net 9rwhp

Seems like it would be more considering the e85 tune by itself gained a bunch, does anyone remember what the number were for the e85 tune?

I'm still not complaining with 500 at the wheels lol, you start to get diminishing returns with the drivetrain loss, that's almost 600 crank with a 12% loss

Lund Racing picked up 38whp on an e85 tune alone

I didn't realize the cat deletes were installed on the baseline dyno. Good to know.

The baseline was 100% stock.

Sorry my assumption. Looked like same day and exhaust sounded the same so thought it had cat deletes since baseline was higher than others at 473whp. Been following your build like a creep.

Was there a cool down period?

Article said there was a 93 octane tune prior to switching to e85. What was the increase with e85?

How about just 93 octane base line and then tune it on 93.

Why is everyone so hot to trot on E85....if it was a 22psi blower setup ok maybe. It is still a track car and I see no point in E85 for track use when you can just dump a few gallons of 100 unleaded in it at the road course.

Most won't use for the road course and Lund picked up 20+whp just switching to e85 from 93. That's good NA power. Not worth the hassle for me but others won't mind that have it easily accessible.

Like me. I have several stations close by, and my car won't be a DD. It's well worth the switch to me, plus you'll likely never have to worry about the car running too hot to make full power with E85.

Because it's a naturally aspirated high compression 12.0:1 engine. 93/94 octane is ok but more can be had.

Another vendor here on the board has their new tuning solution that allows you to run 93 or e85 without switching the tune. They have some new logic that picks up on the type of gas you have put in your car and changes the tune based on that alone. On a '15GT just with e85 they have picked up about 25RWHP and 20RWTQ above their 93 tune.

For a GT, that e85 increase is a nice, nice gain for having to do nothing more than change your gas :). I bet this logic will be coming for the GT350's too.

Very cool. Can you PM that info to me?
