Looks good, not sure I'm a fan of the hood stripe but overall that is one BA ride!

Loving the Oreo look. I thought about doing that for a bit although I'd do it slightly differently.

Using yours for reference, I'd ditch the hood vinyl, black out the wing mirrors, and get rid of the chrome bright work in the grille and around the taillamps. But we all have different tastes and yours is totally unique.

Nice. That looks really good. I especially like the smoked headlights and tail lights. The hood isn't my style though - I'd have left that all white.

Thanks guys. I honestly went back and forth about the hood stripe, not knowing how I would like it. I finally just said screw it and pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did but the nice thing with vinyl is, if I ever get sick of looking at it, it comes off.

I'm really liking the look of the tinted tail light with the 50 yrs AP chrome.

Agreed! My plan was to black out all of the chrome, but it actually goes really well as a break from all the black.

I like everything but the vents. For some reason I thought I'd like those but after seeing it on 2 cars, I think I prefer them the hood color.

Everything else looks nice! Black roof is the way to go on this car. I wonder if they'd consider making that an option?

Thanks Nick :cheers: Total, it came to $1,600. They've done work for me before and stuff, so they discounted it a little. The tag is just what I ended up with, but it's kind of cool since the S500 is the 1st year of the new style and the plate is 1YR.

I don't think a black roof will be an option, but we may see Ford follow up their stripe kits with a kit for the roof.

You know after looking at it, I know what's bothering me. The front seems really weighted in black, while the sides aren't.

A suggestion (take it or leave it). Black out your side view mirrors and possibly ad a lower GT stripe like in the other thread someone had. I think that would balance it for me.

I have been going back and forth on blacking out the mirrors. I'm thinking of getting another set of caps so I can just switch as I change my mind (which is a lot). Definitely like the idea of the lower side stripe. Just not sure if I would want to go with a single solid stripe, like the hood, or one more GT-500 styled. :shrug:
Good thing I have all winter to figure it out!

What black did you go with? I want to do the roof and a similar hood decal, I think I like the satin black vs gloss.
