I'm looking to upgrade my cloth seats to leather. I'm going back and forth between the factory leather take offs and the Katzkins. The factory ones are about $200 cheaper. I don't mind spending the extra if the Katzkins are that much better but money is money.

For those who have leather, which ones are my best bet. :gossip:

Thanks

I have the base leather interior in my GT. Its nothing special that's for sure and honestly I'd be really surprised if its not just a leather composite.

I had Katzkins installed in another vehicle, they were actual leather, smelled like leather but showed wear like real leather. They completely changed the interior of the vehicle but the price was higher maintenance.

I've considers swapping out my leather interior for something higher quality, just low on my list of mod priorities. If I were to do it . . . . . . I'd go with Katzkins for the quality and options alone.

Katzkin is the way to go. I've had it installed in 3 different vehicles, two of them had factory leather. The Katzkin leather was superior quality. Easy to clean and after a year, the cars still had the "new leather" smell to them. You wont regret going that route. Not for such a small price difference.

I've never had Katzkin, but my take on the factory leather (even my "premier" leather) is it's not the highest quality. I get a lot of clothing bleed on the seat, need to scrub them almost monthly to keep them looking top notch. My seats aren't too bad for wrinkles and looseness, but they're definitely not super tight. Many have complained about looseness of the leather.

If people love Katzkins that much, I'd have to say they seem like a really good option.
