So is it 2 point point for 12k and 3 point for 10k?
What's the money factor on a tier 1+? 0.00250? and how much is the disposition?
for a 10500 mile a year lease 24 months and tier 1 credit would be a 69% residual with a 3.25 money factor.

Money factor is killing any lease deals for all but the most desperate.

I find it strange Ford would have lease numbers out already and the car isn't even in showrooms. I am sure Marketing will disagree, but I only see manufacturers going to leases when sales begin to flag. Some manufacturers don't offer leases on all new models until they have been on sale for at least 6 months.

Depends on the area and market. In Dearborn (I admit very unique) we do 90% leasing because of our proximity to Ford and our customer base is Ford affiliated. Typically our customers pay 1/3 of a vehicle purchase price to lease a vehicle.

WOW! 90% of your customers lease their car? That is an amazing statistic! I don't work in the auto industry, so I have no clue about those things. Thanks for sharing that.

After obsessive checking the build and price I am finally seeing the complete leasing information for my area this afternoon. I'm definitely a lease guy so I was glad to see some firm numbers.
Hi buddy. I'm also a lease candidate, with my vw GLI due in mid November...dying to hear some lease #s. Care to share the details of your lease agreement (model, down lease terms etc). I need #s so I can see if an EB premium will be in my budget. Fingers crossed....Thx

Yes it's a crazy high number especially compared to any other region but every one of our customers has AZX plan pricing so it really helps when building a case for leasing. On top of that Ford Motor Company management gets lease cars through Ford so employees grow accustom to getting new vehicles every couple years. There neighbors also see this and want new cars all the time too so it kind of helps to drive the leasing market around here.

Just signed a lease on an EcoBoost Premium today! Got it for about $500 under invoice, which brought the lease payments to $290 per month with $3,000 down at signing. Terms are 36 months, 31,500 miles. The residual came in at 61% and the agreed upon money factor was 0.00177 or 4.25%. I'm happy with the lease price, considering it's a car with an MSRP of over $31,000 and a lot of hype surrounding it.

I'm also not sure how the resale value is going to turn out for the EcoBoost, so I'm taking less of a risk with a lease. Also, due to the sales tax rules where I live, I'm saving about $1,000 in sales tax versus buying.

I didn't think you could sign a lease before the vehicle was actually available for delivery. My understanding is that you can order a car, but the eventual lease agreement would use the lease rates in effect for the month in which the car was delivered.

I was told this was the maximum I would pay, and that if there are lower rates or incentives available when I take delivery, that I would pay the lower price, but that the price cannot go up from what we agreed upon.

does this mean ford expects the car to only be worth about 60 percent of it's msrp value in 2 years time ? that's actually a pretty bad price depreciation.

Leasing (may) make economic sense for those that always switch Vehicles every 24 or 36 months. If you put on low mileage and keep your cars immaculate, just return the vehicle with decent rubber and no paints chips and bumper dings and just had them the keys. On the other hand, other then your cheque stubs, you have "zero" equity and building no residual value. Since most Folks take out 60 to 72 months loans, they are (upside down) for almost the entire period of ownership anyway! The most economical way of purchasing (any) Vehicle is is buy outright a "new-used" Car. Whats that? Well here in SO FL, we have several Used car Dealerships that specialize in Off Lease resales. How about a 5 month old 2014 Mercedes C250 with 4600 miles and a MSRP of 42,700 reselling for $26,999 plus Tax & Tags with (No) Dealer Fee`s? Save almost 16K on a Vehicle that hasn`t even had its first oil change? I`m a New Car buyer myself and awaiting my 2015 Mustang Convertible but, this will be my (last) Brand New car purchase. If I had the patience to wait until next Summer, I`d go that route right now!

I always lease , i own a company so I get 100% write off on payments. When my lease is up on my latest F150 I'll buy it out for the remaining balance personally. Same with my Mustang, company pays majority of the car, i buy a 4 year old car for approx $10,000. I keep keep it fully serviced, I know the car history etc.
