Quick question for the experts here. My window sticker build date says: 120141009 which I have understood to mean it was built October 9, 2014. However, on Etis, it lists build date as: 09.10.2014, which would seem to indicate a build date of September 10th. Am I misreading one or the other?

Maybe they changed things in the last 10 years, but on the '05 models, the date on the window sticker wasn't the actual build date. It might have been the schedule date (the date the VIN is assigned) I don't remember for sure, but it wasn't the build date.

I'm not saying ETIS is wrong but if it's the same as the window sticker date, there's a possibility.

Ford's warranty site (OASIS) will be the most accurate, but that's only accessible to dealerships.

It's still waiting to be processed in vpc then. It will update again once it's re-released.

The date on the sticker is its build date. At least in our case. However, and this is my guess, I do think that build day is actually a day after it finishes the trim line. I won't go into why. But, for all purposes, at least on our cars, the date on your sticker is your build date.

It's still waiting to be processed in vpc then. It will update again once it's re-released.

So where are they getting their info to tell me it will be here between 31 Oct and 5 Nov? And then to believe that it's in transit and can't confirm.

Send a PM to FordService here on the forum, give them your VIN# and you can verify if the dealer gave you the correct information

They are getting that from their version of cotus. BUT; those dates are populated for our cars like they are for all other mustangs by computers. The computers don't realize that our cars aren't released straight out of the factory. So those dates are bunk. Could it make it by then if it was prepped immediately out of production if the dice fell right? Yes. But I would expect it. Mine was originally 10/15. Mine didn't even ship until 10/31.

Those dates will change when it's re-released. Mine did.

Hoping I see someone on this forum get their LE this week

I'm hoping (and if all goes absolutely perfect, it will still be close) to have mine this week. If everything happens perfectly and my dealership fleet manager can pull a favor. Lots of big ifs. I'm hoping for by next Wednesday but crossing fingers, toes, nose and little diggler hoping for Friday.

I suspect that Mustangcheif has a better chance of getting his first. His left a day before mine. But he's got some things working against him also so hard to say.

I paid the driver to hide it in a cave (gaurded of course) so I could be first m6g member to get LE.
