Hey everyone, I am curious to hear people's experiences with launching at the drag strip using foot brake and ebrake versus just foot brake. I can rev to about 2000 rpm in my 2019 A10 GT - stock with MT ET Street bias ply DRs on foot brake without pushing the car. I did some testing today and I was able to ease up to 2300 RPM without pushing while holding ebrake with foot brake.
On foot brake launching at.2000 rpm, my best 60' so far is 1.79. My local track is crazy busy when open so I normally only get 2 runs per night when I go. I am curious if people have seen benefit in using ebrake for higher launch RPM or does the ebrake affect the launch during the time between start of launch and releasing ebrake. I just don't get to test much when I go to the track.
Should I expect much better than a 1.79 60' on stock tune with bias ply DRs with A10 and 3.55 gear?
