Late model Explorer wheels fit a Mustang?

Found some smoking deals on Explorer wheels, offset is very close, only 1.5 mm different, but center bore on Explorer wheels is around 63. I believe Mustang wheels are around 70. Explorers also use the larger 1/2 " lug nuts like the S550s so that part should be okay. Bolt patterns are the same. On paper, it doesnt sound like it would work due to the different centerbores, but wondering if anyone has tried. I know there are forums where peeps have put Mustang wheels on Explorers, which would work due to the centerbore of Stang wheels is larger than the Explorer wheels. They would be for snow tires by the way...Thanks!
