Finally replaced the analog dash in my 19 GT with the digital dash upgrade kit. Replaced the dash, bezel, steering column, and wheel buttons. Went smoothly. Turned the car on and everything seemed to work but then I noticed my Lane Assist doesn't seem to be doing at all. The button on the blinker bar doesn't seem to do anything. In the actual dash menu under driver assist -> lane assist -> it's picked as "alert + aid" which is what I used to use. I see the grey "lane" bars in my speedometer. But when I get over 40MPH they never turn green. And I thought I remembered from my last mustang that those bars would disappear if you turned Lane Assist off. But I can't seem to get it to do anything. Has anyone else seen this?

As I understand it, the lane keeping system relies on a camera mounted ahead of the rearview mirror. If your car did not come equipped with the digital dash does it have this camera installed?

Yeah, the car has the lane assist package and adaptive cruise control. Lane assist worked perfectly fine with the original analog dash. I always had lane assist on which is why I noticed it not working so quickly. Adaptive cruise control still works at least.
