I spoke to a salesman at Robinson Bros. in B.R. at the show two weeks ago and they were getting 15k over sticker on regular GT350s, and from what I've heard the Rs are getting more. Much like the LS Bosses they will command a premium, probably for the entire run. I don't look for R models to go for sticker, non-R models may get down to sticker in late 16 or 17.

Just wanted to know if anyone can reccomend a dealership that would order a GT350 without charging ADM. I tried Veterans Ford and the salesman said "we are not ordering, only accepting bids. We have two bids right now in the area of 80K and we require a 10k deposit". I told him that my 2015 GT PP premium is the last vehicle I would buy from them. I hate the ADM bullshit.

Veterans may very well be one of the worst dealerships I have ever dealt with. Don Bohn is where I got mine from and they are not much better. Unfortunately like falcon said I don't think you will see many of these not marked up. You could always try out of state, like Holiday Ford in Dallas. They are a HUGE dealership and may have a few of them whereas most dealers will only get one or two the most. Good luck and I Hope you find what you are looking for.

Robinson and Robichaux are the only decent Ford dealers we have.

Veterans tried everything to make my GT purchase a nightmare. I was paying cash and they kept trying to get me to finance, finally I told them if they mentioned financing again I was leaving. I would have not made the purchase, but I did negotiate a great price and the car was exactly like I wanted.

They get incentives when you finance.

True, but when the customer declines, you don't keep harassing them

Oh, I'm not taking up for the greedy bastards, just explaining their motives. lol

I have one salesman I like to deal with, but the service dept at said dealer sucks balls.

A great big F off to Robinson brothers. I wouldn't buy a lugnut from them if it's all I needed to get home. Not after they tried to back out of the msrp deal I had made with Audubon on a gt500 when they first dropped in 07. I took my money elsewhere after they changed their mind.

I adore all star in prairieville. He called and offered me the LE at msrp when they found they where getting one (April 2014) and offered their gt350 at msrp also. I've bought from them since 95 except before they could get svt products. Plus, the service dude is very easy to work with with me (the one time I had to go anyway). Always below invoice with no BS (except the LE) and always kbb trade value for me. Again, long time customer though.

Give them a call. Definite worth a inquisition on the one gt350 they getting atm.

I did buy a terminator from don bohn in 03 and other than the back and forth bullshit (using x plan even!) it was decent place.

I'm going to start basing my purchase decision on service departments alone. Terrebonne ford is like pulling teeth to have work done, even when you spoon feed everything down to the TSB number and how to go about repairing it. I know that second bit annoys most technicians, but sometimes it's a necessary evil with these guys.

Granted I don't trust anyone but myself usually but....

My car started making a rattle from front end. Brought to them (made appt on phone). Service writer and I talked Bout it and seat cooling problem. I explained to him that it can't be fixed atm. Tech came and rode with me. Showed him rattle. He diagnosed as strut top bearing. I left it with them. Called an hour later. Yep. Strut top bearing bad. Ordered new one. Picked up car while we waited. Two days later brought back. Swapped out and aligned in an hour and a half (I left car again). They logged seat cooling problem as verified and not fixed. Two days later, tsb on seat comes out. I called him back. Left message. He found tsb, ordered parts and called me to let me know he would call when they arrived. No bullshit. No "we can't recreate it" or have to try ten crap things first. Tech seems like real genuine car guy and service writer is bundling a bronco so we all hit it off well.

Couple months ago, I wanted my oil changed (had a complimentary one). I called the morning I would be in the area. The manager made a time slot for me to get it done to save me a trip. They didn't have any available openings but did that to help me out.

Just my story of all star in prairieville. I'm happy.

I have the complimentary free service for first oil change at Veterans Ford, but they won't see my car there. There are so many shady things at that dealership, I wouldn't trust them with my car.

What dealer is this?

I've found one legitimate "car guy" at my dealer, and he helps me mitigate the stupidity when possible, but you dealer sounds much easier to work with.

Last line of my post. All star ford in prairieville. Salesman is Parnell. Service writer I use is Mike.

Tip on dealing with people. Tell him another of their customers recommended him and said he had a bronco he was working on. Ask questions, be interested and be sincere. Goes a long way to establish relationships necessary to ensure good service is provided to you also! (Applying some lessons learned in management courses to real lit results in really good things!). That will get you ALOT farther than barging in demanding perfect service because I'm an enthusiast and you're a ford employee lackey who don't know shit.

I'm convinced that most people troubles with dealerships start from that first contact moment and things said. But I've gone off on a tangent now lol

Seems like my kind of dealer

Like I said they are awful. Don Bohn is right up there with them. I brought my car there for the brake TSB with that awful squealing. First they tried to tell me they couldn't recreate it, yet it made the noise when I pulled in. Then they tried to say well that's normal on high performance brakes, which I responded, I didn't know my car should sound like a dump truck when stopping. Then when the parts finally got ordered, they never called to me they were in. A week and a half went by past the date they should've been in, so I called the parts department and sure enough my brakes were sitting in the parts department. You can't make this stuff up.

I'll give props top them as well. My mom was shopping for a new Escape and I spoke to a number of my contacts at other local dealers. They gave me some figures that sounded pretty good. She went to All Star when I saw that they had exactly what she wanted on their website and they clobbered the other dealerships, no questions asked. Their service to her since then has been great.
