People with tint in here, I'm looking for opinions. My current civic has 15% on the sides and 5% on the rear windshield. I wish it was darker but I'm unsure about night time visibility. Does anyone have experience with 5% on a car that could chime in? I live in the metairie/new orleans area so there's plenty of light on 90% of my nighttime drives.

I find 5 on the sides is too dark, I stick to 20 so the highway patrol doesn't hassle me too much.

I had 20 on my car. Only problem I ever had was trying to getting a brake tag...tint came off.

I've always had 5% tints on my car and unless you are in an area that is completely dark, you will be ok. If reversing is something you are concerned about, just do it slow.

Yea im undecided at this point. Might just stick with 15 on the sides and 5 on the back with a visor strip up front. The windshield is much smaller than my civic so it shouldn't let nearly as much light in.

So I was just wondering, where exactly will everyone be next week and what time do you all plan on showing up? I drove by there yesterday at about 4pm and there was a ton of cars there. I did not realize that it gets packed like that on Sundays.

I usually get out there around 8:30 to secure a spot with a few other friends. We like to park in the spots closest to the levee so we have room for canopies and can grill in the grass. Of course I'll be in my bone stock civic lol.

Sundays are usually crowded out there but if you've never seen the lakefront meet, it's a HUGE difference.

Got a few pictures this morning, couldn't be happier. Panel alignment is very good and the power is intoxicating! Already took out the clutch spring and it's so much easier to drive.

Any of you guys know a good paint shop to get my spoiler painted at that won't charge an arm and a leg. Ford quoted me at $191, is that a decent price? Installed they want $250. Am I crazy or is this in line for a rear spoiler?

That's actually probably a fair price for paint.

I trust only two places. Kenny allens body shop in sorrento and hwy 44 paint and body in Gonzales. The latter is a die hard ford fan. He has gt500, sport trac adrenalin and has had all kinds of cool fords
