Got in touch with my dealer and I'm getting the order process rolling. The usual $500 deposit and 6-8 week wait as every other dealership. The wait is going to be brutal. My salesman is trying to get in touch with ford to issue a change order on one they previously ordered that hasn't been built yet. It's the exact one I want without the PP. If that goes through, it'll come in in 3-4 weeks.

Try waiting 5.5 months for one. That's how long between ordering and my LE came in. 6.5 months from the day they offered it to me.

Damn, the ford dealer in Houma made me put down 2k for the deposit, because my options list was "unusual"...

Which dealer if you don't mind me asking? I'm going through Terrebonne Ford even though I'm in metairie. We have a family friend who's been there for years and my parents have gotten 3 or 4 ford's through him.
