It's the biggest car meet of the year for the gno area. It usually has a huge turnout of imports, domestics, euro, trucks, bikes, etc with the parking lot across from Landry's seafood full of cars and the spillover of cars lining Lakeshore Drive. This year it's Sunday April 26 at noon, but typically if you don't arrive by 8:30, you aren't getting a spot in the lot. I know I'll have the down payment I want by then, it's just whether or not I can find the car I want.

I saw that about two weeks ago when they first got it and had it in the back. Beautiful car, but the price is ridiculous. I think they marked it up $10K.

So my plan is still to buy the gt in april, I wonder if I should look into ordering one now so it comes in in april. For anyone here who ordered one was it about a 2 month process? $500 deposit?

I was told that if I wanted to order one it would take about two months. I had them find me one and that took two weeks. All they wanted was a $500 deposit as well to have the car ordered but I would call just to make sure.

Depends on dealership. All are different. Mine didn't make me put anything down at all and ordered my LE. I'm a many times returning customer though.

Delivery normally, with no problems or commodity constraints,is 6-8 weeks. Unless a couple weeks early wouldn't hurt you, I would order closer to 6 weeks out

Hey all. Madisonville here. Waiting for my GT Convertible to show up. Have seen a gray GT coupe in the Covington area a few times near Hwy 21 and 12 and a DIB coupe in my neighborhood on Thanksgiving but not since, must have been a relative.

I about gave myself whiplash last weekend when I saw what sounds like your car going into the Target parking lot.

Got in touch with my dealer and I'm getting the order process rolling. The usual $500 deposit and 6-8 week wait as every other dealership. The wait is going to be brutal. My salesman is trying to get in touch with ford to issue a change order on one they previously ordered that hasn't been built yet. It's the exact one I want without the PP. If that goes through, it'll come in in 3-4 weeks.
