I have bought a new mustang, 10 speed automatic, is Anyone experiencing a knock noise when starting up the engine (usually when engine is warmed up)? I took it at the dealer and they said is normal!

The only time I've experienced that over the years has been when I had just changed the oil, didn't fill the filter with oil, and started the car. I cannot see that being normal otherwise.
BTW...you show you have a S650, so maybe on that forum you'll get more appropriate answers. It is interesting that you post from Cyprus. Was your car really new, or did the seller sell you a known "lemon" from the states or other country?

Hi @phoebus ,

It appears you own a 7th Generation Mustang, the S650. There's a sister site, www.mustang7g.com , that focuses exclusively on the 2024 - 20##.

Go to that ^ site and request an account. You can use the same username and password as now. Then, start a new thread. It'd help when you start that thread to include a sound of the knock, a short audio clip of the issue.

Edit,

The Coyote engine has several distinct sounds, characteristics of that engine. Hopefully, the sound you hear is one of those. If not, Members at 7G can give you feedback and guidance to help.
