Finally finished up my Kenne Bell 2.8l liquid cooled supercharger. I started 2 weeks ago after ordering the kit direct from Kenne Bell with their stock tune. I did all the work in my garage on the weekdays and 1 weekend so total time about 20 hours. They say the kit can be done in 12 hours and I don't doubt that at all. I do not work on cars for a living and have not really wrenched since I was a helo mech in the Marines some 20 years ago so I am rusty and took my time. Loved the install guide and all the parts were top notch, so install was smooth. I have added pics to show some of the main progress. Now it is done all I can say is holy crap. It is as fast as I would ever want a street car and more beautiful than anything out there. I went to my first car show and was the only KB so it stood out. Love this setup and performance. I may never dyno this as I don't really care about number just the feel.

Now why did you go with this vs. other options? Curious.
I went with Kenne Bell after talking to people who have had them and also install them. Every person was happy with it for the long run. The other big reason is the HP level this kit put out was perfect for me. I am not a guy who is going to track this so making huge numbers (800+) was not that important, I just wanted to be able to tear up some M5's and M6's and other cars on the street. So far this has been a great experience, good solid kit, did it all by myself and looks great.
I looked at ProCharger, Whipple, and Roush. All great kits and no big down side to any of them, they all were vary viable solutions. It just seemed like the KB was the perfect match for what I was looking for.

Thanks for spreading the word.. More folks need to see stuff like this. There's so much misinformation about Kenne Bell systems. They're not just "race superchargers". They are designed for and installed on thousands of street driven cars all over the world. :)
