Starting two nights ago, my car alarm started going off in the middle of the night. The first night I ran outside thinking someone was wanting to meet me by breaking into my car. Since I wasn’t arrested, obviously no one was there. The alarm went off two more times that night. Since then every night my alarm has been going on. My neighbors across the street knocked on my door yesterday and asked me to turn the alarm off at night so they could sleep. I called ford and there was no one there who could help me until Tuesday.

Does anyone know where the modular s located for these alarms on the mustangs and how to turn the sensitivity up ot turn it off until i can get it into the shop?

Thanks

I had 'the alarm guy' at my dealership adjust the sensitivity. I was able to walk in, no appt.
No problems since. :)

But...in the meantime...check under/behind steering wheel (in the dash)?
Edit: Column. Steering column. Sheesh.

Have you tried valet mode?
Turn car on
Hold valet button till LED turns solid green.

Undo valet:
Turn car on
Hold valet button till LED is off

There may be a "confirmation beep" or two to let you know it's been done properly.

Disclosure: I have not tried this myself, however after having been "suckered" into activating it, a tech did demonstrate this to me.
