Hi,
I've seen a lot of in depth responses here so I figured: why not ask. Most of you couldn't shoot me at that distance anyway.
I drive an Audi A6 for the moment and, as I usually drive it with caution, I noticed at some point that I could shift gears without using the clutch pedal.
You don't have to pull or stomp the shifter, but whitout pushing the clutch, you can slowly push it out of gear and when you put it towards the next gear it just pops in. I've bought the car new and it has 50k miles on it. I could however do this from early on.
I don't know if this is harmfull, nor do I fully understand how this goes.
Anyone here willing to explain, becaus it's an easy way to drive, but with my mustang comming I wouldn't want to harm it...
Thanks guys.
