Went very smooth. George's instructional video really covered the install from every angle. Used a forklift to lift the car onto large pieces of I beam - install took me about 3 hours. No adjustment needed either!

Very well engineered piece and feels so much more precise compared to the stock unit.

Thanks MGW!

That's what I've been writing about all over this site is how to support, and jack the car with 2x4. Right now I have to use a floor jack. I can't get my fork lift around to both sides at the moment but I'm thinking how to arrange the shop to do just that.

Holy shit....You could not pay me any amount of money to crawl under that setup for 3hrs or so. Much less 1 min.

I would have used something wider such as a couple of jack stands or concrete blocks. But the places that he has his car supported is very stable.

couple of things, I have an old 91 Civic with 200k+ miles, lol I wouldnt use a forklift to raise, let alone my $40k car smh, and sorry, but those I beams dont have a large enough foot print to support that car if you get to torquing on a bolt and shaking the car, glad you made it out alive and like the shifter, MGW makes a top notch piece, Id have one on this car if I didnt go A6, had a Race Spec in my 2011 and loved it
