Yes, I installed a sub box like this in my convertible. If you remove the bottom part of your rear seat(the part that you sit on), there should be two painted metal posts sticking up near the entrance to your trunk with spaced out threads. I took some metal strap, two flat head screws and screwed the two metal straps to the bottom, rear of the sub box. Then I hooked the other ends of the straps(the straps have holes) to the two metal posts sticking up under the rear seat. Then I used some thin metal nuts to button down the straps to the metal posts and cut the excess strap off. The subwoofer stays tight and doesn't move. Then you reinstall the reat seat as normalI bought this for a 10" sub. The guy that made this one outlined the volume, port diameter and length etc and all matched what I needed. Has anyone else install a box like this? If so, how was it secured?
