Well I cleared an intersection yesterday in the ecoboost.
I was on an unfamiliar street and there was drainage dips on each side of the intersection and I was driving faster then I should have been.
Hit the dip, flew across the intersection. Pivoted on the axis a little bit while airborne. Landed into the next dip. The landing obviously maxed out the suspension and rebounded kicking the back out. I slid into the next lane but thankfully recovered. And thank God it was empty on that road. Needless to say I will be toning it down. I am extremely lucky it didn't bottom out and rip off the oil pan. Or worse. All tires still have air. I looked at the bottom and no scratches. The mbrp needs aligned again but that's it. No body damage, and didn't bottom out. I guess what should I check out after this? I guess I'll be cruising slow from here on out. Was thinking about lowering it. After this I'm glad I didn't. I guess it's cool for others owners to know their s550 can hit huge dips at high speed at intersection without damage and without bottoming out. Drive carefully
