I had the right opportunity jump in front of me and I couldn't pass it up. Glad I didn't. If somebody would have told me 2 cars with the same platform could ride, drive and handle so differently I would have called B.S. I put 4500 miles in my GT so very familiar with all aspects of the car. But the GT350 reaches right out and smacks you with the differences once you are behind the wheel. And the difference in the engines and transmissions are apples and oranges, too. So glad I didn't buy another ZL1. This car fills the void for me. And the most bang for the buck is the GT with the PP1. It was a pleasure to own. View attachment 375681

I gotta say, as someone who thinks the GT350 isn't all that much better than a standard PP, the transmission in that car makes me want to drive my MT82-equipped GT off a cliff

Love it, who needs all the nonsense of digital dashes, 10 speed autos, electric handbrakes, ventilated seats etc - that's the car to have. The GT500 is just a gimmick on wheels.

While this is true, you can pry my digital dash from my cold dead hands.

"Had a 15' GT 6 speed. Drove a Scrapmaro, as you call, it, that kicked the Mustang's azz in everyway. 0-60, 1/4 times, handling. Bought it. Then was considering going to a used GT350 since prices came down to earth. Drove it and then a ZL1 back to back. The ZL1 KILLED the GT 350. KILLED. Traded on an 18 GT and enjoy the car considerably as well.

Now when you actually go and BUY the cars, own the cars and DRIVE the cars your opinion will matter. Until then puff out your chest and continue with the Scrapmaro comments.

For the record I always had Mustangs and Corvettes and the 16 was my very first Scrapmaro."

Uhhh okay.

I can always count on you.....and the ZL1 still kicks the GT350s ass. But I already had one. But then again I am sure you saw what Chevy I own to keep with the Ford.

As soon as I test drove my GT350, I KNEW I had to have the car. So much better than my 17 GT was.
