I mentioned the same previously. They matched what the front fender/side skirt does, its just more obvious on the rear quarter due to the amount of material added. Try as I might, I just can't see another way of blending the fender into the skirt. I am hoping it will will look better in blue with the Shelby side stripe.
On Darker colors it will not be as noticeable. I wonder if it would look better painted body color. Definately worth doing a photoshop to see.....

I have wondered what the skirt and edge scoops would look like all body color, or even all matte black.

I do think it looks WAY better on a blue car.

You will notice the car with black stripes has a matte black lower rocker from front to back, vs the one with white stripes has a front and rear black scoop, but the lower rocker is body color. I'm split on which looks better.

The section of the skirt below the door on the green car is ALL green where as on some of the blue cars pictured it has black between and some blue. So it must be an option to have the center section body color or black. Black ties the 2 end pieces together and looks more homogeneous. I think all black from end to end would look better.

In reality though on a blue car it likely will look fine no matter what the configuration of black or blue parts because there will never be a stark contrast like we see in the green car.

Kinda my feeling as well. I have time to dial in all the details before she goes into wide body. It's what's been driving me crazy lol. There are NO GT500 SE cars produced to see pictures of yet. The green one is a wide body, but not an SE.

I'm also back and fourth on gloss black vs brushed aluminum wheels. On blue brushed aluminum looks mint, but black ties into the the rest of the black bits. The scoop, mirror caps, spoiler....

Exactly the reason i went with black wheels over silver/brushed because the GT500 has an abundance of gloss black accents. I was set on silver wheels before taking delivery of my car.

Aluminum wheels, FTW. Otherwise they vanish into the wheelwell.

What stripe color did you decide on, Jaime?

That's a tough one, Jaime and I'm not surprised that you're torn. Personally, I love the aluminum rims on the cars above.

Thanks guys. My order request has aluminum wheels listed, as I think they look great on my color.

The thing is, I have come to appreciate black wheels over the years. Hell, I suppose I can always just order a black set in the future if I have any regerts.....

Very nice. This was in my local dealer floor today while I was waiting for them to finish with Betty.

Not the best shot, I did a quick snap..I guess I could edit it...but you get what it is. Price was 126k.

I can't fathom who is going to buy it around here, they don't move low end Mustangs as it is.

Its crazy how much these are selling for, especially not even being wide bodies. If I didn't do the wide body, cost would be $113,00 for a GT500 based Shelby that will kill the Super Snake. Add the wide body and I am at $132,000. Money well spent.......well....thats what I am telling the wife. But really, it is.
