I can't wait till you have the color painted option available!! :D
We can't either, everything has been running behind. Hopefully get all the suppliers caught up soon.

This definitely looks like the intake to have for the ecoboost. I love how they protected the filter from the elements (water specifically). They also included a blow off option for those so inclined. It's definitely going to be the intake I buy down the road.

I do like the JLT as well, but it's a bit pricey. I've already spent too much in mods, unfortunately. Maybe at some point. I'd love to rock one of these and show it off at our Mustang6G meets.

Were the runs made with the bov capped? I expected more sound. Can you run this intake without it capped? My inner teenager wants to hear the bov.

You can run this intake capped (venting to atmosphere). To VTA, you have to cap the port on the intake where the BPV would normally recirculate. Yes though, you can blow off on people to your hearts content.

I am spraying preturbo water/meth, so I just bought JLT because it has a wide diameter close to the inlet. It was just what I needed. The diameter of the stock inlet is like a beer bottle.:cheers:

So, the cap that would normally got on the bov would cap that port? It would stand to reason that they're the same size given that they are connected by a hose from the factory.

The factory BPV has a tube which leads back to the intake (if recirculating). If you want to VTA, then you remove that hose and install the plug on the intake tube. You'd never want to put the plug on the BPV itself. That'd cause some trouble, if I didn't shoot it off lol.

Doh! I realize now how dumb that sounded. Oh well, good thing this is the Internet. Nobody knows me here :) What I really was trying to find out is if the plug is something that comes with the intake or would it need to be sourced from somewhere else?

The plug is included with the intake. As far as I know, they're the only ones doing this so far.

Thank you kind sir/madam. I'm in.
Awesome. I really think you'll enjoy it. My wife heard my BPV venting for the first time last week and got a real good kick out of watching people turn around when they heard it, lol.
